Problem
"I'd like to be able to adjust the look of my profile to make it unique to me"
For designers the current Profile only show a simple list of the pieces they've added on SYKY. Other platforms afford designers more options and as a result, there is not a strong incentive for designers to set up their SYKY profiles and to drive traffic to them.

Solution
We gave the Profile Page a fresh new look to help designers truly showcase their creativity. This change, encouraged more designers to sign up on SYKY to share their digital fashion pieces. Plus, we added a fun new section that enhances the 3D experience, making it easier for designers to highlight their work in all its details.

My research began by collecting the available data. I identified what designers wanted in their new profile page, the features that would improve their experience, and the aspects that frustrated them. I focused on improving the experience in several key areas:
Supporting visual content
Customization
Arranging content

Once I collected this information, I moved on to conduct an analysis of the current profile's features to improve the profile and its different areas. I then set up different calls with the head of product to propose these improvements.

I performed a direct and indirect competitor analysis to evaluate the usability of competitors' digital products to gain insights for improving SYKY's user experience.

Enhancing Designers' profiles for greater engagement and sales
Designers have the opportunity to enhance their profiles, allowing them to showcase their creations effectively. By improving their presentation, they engaged their audience more and boosted their chances of making sales by 25% compared to the old profile.
I worked on creating the steps for adding specific sections, such as Collection, Featured Piece, Behind the Scene, and 3D Pieces.
A crucial part of this process involved close collaboration with developers. I created a page with detailed documentation about the behaviour of interactions and components in the design system.

I enhanced the 3D experience on the Profile by designing 3D sections, which offer an engaging way to showcase digital fashion. In the earlier version of the Profile, the 3D display was restricted to PDPs. Now, designers can include a dedicated 3D section in their profiles, allowing them to present their creations effectively and enabling users to interact with the pieces directly from their profiles.

A quick MVP solution for Designers's info
A few days before the new profile page was released, we noticed that the profile edit info page still used the old design version. We needed a quick solution to enable the editing of designers' information in a way that aligned with the new design.
Since the previous layout for information and settings was outdated and within the same page, we aimed to deliver a rapid MVP matching the new profile page aesthetics.
I proposed separating profile information from account settings. This approach allowed us to ensure that the design for editing information was consistent with the recent updates, while also providing developers with additional time to focus on building the more complex account settings, which would require more development time.

A new dedicated page allows designers to edit their information and personalize their experience by changing the banner's background. This feature is also accessible from the desktop view, with a straightforward design stating that the changes will only affect the mobile experience.
